The ECG test is part of a series of other medical tests to determine whether there are any health issues preventing an individual from joining the volunteer pool. The Additional health screen checks will be undertaken by HSE's occupational health provider. The ECG result will be used in conjunction with these additional tests to decide fitness to join the pool. The Science and Research Centre is looking to increase volunteer pool numbers by 20 -30 people.
