The type of work the Council will be seeking is works to Trees in public areas and will include ### General Tree Pruning Crown Raising and Reductions ### Tree clearance/ Thinning Removal of trees in a controlled manner in plantations. ### Stump Grinding/ Treatment ### Any other Tree Maintenance Service The Contractor will also be expected to provide a 24 hour emergency call-out service for the removal of dangerous and unsafe trees and branches. The above list is not intended to be a complete list of all of the elements of tree work that may be contained in the Contract Works but merely a guide to tenderers of the general scope of the tree work required. Tree work will take place over the whole Borough but the majority will be carried out in Skelmersdale.
