This has presented the opportunity to redesign the approach in searching against databases that capture information relating to property and potentially stolen property offering to produce a more effective and inclusive model for our employees. Property databases are a means of asset management in the UK. They give the opportunity for an owner of a piece of property to register its details and apply a tamper proof sticker, security marking or forensic marking that makes it easier to identify if required. The required solution is to create a search engine that will search all currently available databases as well as open source marketplaces. This will enable a single point of entry into multiple opportunities to search and bring back a result, no matter what databases are in existence.
