CHAP and AEC operate The Phenotyping and Soil Health Facility at Cranfield University MK43 0AL. For this facility it seeks to ultimately procure 24 large (approx. 1 m3) Soil Modules - in effect these are open top boxes which allow for crop growth under controlled environmental and soil conditions and allows for soil tillage operations to be simulated.
