The contract between Capita Business Services Limited and Buckinghamshire Council will run for 5 years, effective from 1 April 2022, and will expire on 31st March 2027. A list of the supported modules is available on request. Additional information: This is a direct award of a software maintenance contract under regulation 32(b)(ii) and (iii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The ONE system is a proprietary software platform owned by Capita Business Services Limited and separately licensed by Capita to the Contracting Authority. The system was created to be a database capturing statutory Education data. To meet statutory requirements, the Capita ONE system needs to be upgraded triennially, which cannot be achieved without software updates produced only by Capita.
