The services for single homeless people with support needs and women escaping domestic violence and abuse are commissioned by the Housing Commissioning and Partnerships Team and are known collectively as the Adult Pathway. The Adult Pathway plays an integral part in the Council's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (2019-2024). The main purpose of the Adult Pathway is to prevent homelessness, to help to reduce rough sleeping across the borough and to enable those with support needs and/or chaotic lifestyles to acquire the skills to live independently. The Adult Pathway comprises 673 beds and the level of support provided varies between services, but the majority of services provide 24/7 cover and are for people with medium to high support needs. The support provided is psychologically and trauma informed.
