In all activities the participants will be presented with pre-identified, real-life challenges framed by external stakeholders - including the local community, entrepreneurs, and businesses - and will be supported by a cross-disciplinary/sector team of advisors from a wide variety of disciplines including innovation, enterprise, technology, and design. The BIG Design Lab programme will create excitement, interest, and a sense of innovation and creativity within the Workspace Hubs. It will drive footfall to the sites, it will facilitate engagement with key workspaces audiences in the respective Boroughs (academics; students; entrepreneurs; investors etc.), and it will help define the spaces as being ones which create local solutions to local problems with the support of local people.)
