The Council requires the Contractor to act as the Principle Contractor for the demolition A brief summary of the works for the Contractor is: -Submit the section 80 Demolition notice, -Remove green waste to facilitate demolition works, -Make the site secure - erect demolition protection scaffolding (supported with design and calculations), -Demolish existing building within the site boundary, -Remove hardstanding, foundations, to ensure that there is minimum waste to landfill (a local recycling facility or make arrangements). Waste includes tarmac and general waste. -Concrete from the demolition to be crushed on site and spread evenly across the site. -The site is expected to be left clean and tidy with issuing health and safety file upon completion. -Provide all appropriate Site Management, labour resource and plant and Equipment for the Demolition.
