These auditors have to be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). To provide a 'reporting accountant' facility to Oxford City Council Benefit Service for the completion of the audit of the annual claim form starting from 2022/2023 to the DWP for Housing Benefit expenditure. To issue a final assurance report (AUP) to the DWP and to deal with any subsequent issues arising following this submission until the settlement with the DWP has been agreed.
