I have approached 5 large suppliers across Europe of which only 2 (Instron and ZwickRoell) were prepared to offer a solution. Instron have visited our facility and designed a system around or building and the existing laboratory hardware. The FoE already have a substantial investment in Instron test equipment, as such ancillary modular components are available to be borrowed from around the faculty free of charge. These components are brand specific and are of a substantial cost.
