Redevelopment works at the hospital require the replacement of M Block Roof as the current roof system, which dates back to 1960,is no longer fit for purpose and requires full replacement. Temporary works have been in place for 10 years which are now failing. Works to the building have not been completed historically as the building was planned for demolition as part of the redevelopment.
