This will be delivered within the Borough of Cheshire East and will provide support for children, young people and adults with hearing impairments to include those who are: • D/deaf ('D' in deaf indicates people who are deaf from birth or early childhood and commonly use British Sign Language as their first language) • have an acquired hearing loss • deafblind - sometimes known as a dual sensory impairment - people with a significant combination of hearing and sight loss and where specific additional needs for support are identified. This service is being commissioned by Cheshire East Council.
