[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](/opportunities/for-small-businesses)## About this tender Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) is the lead for the National Lottery Community Fund / ESF Building Better Opportunities 'In Support Of Family Inclusion' ([tnlcommunityfund.org.uk](https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding/programmes/building-better-opportunities#section-1)) in the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership area ([llep.org.uk](http://www.llep.org.uk/)). The Getting Ready for Employment and Training (GREAT) Project ([greatproject.org.uk](https://greatproject.org.uk/)) is a free service designed to give members of families, who are not currently employed, the support they need to find work or training opportunities. The project has been operating since 2016 and has been extended until the end of March 2023. We are currently inviting applications from providers who are able to supply the Skills & Training Provision to GREAT Project Participants which will complement our existing programme of activities and where lack of Skill or Qualifications has been identified as a barrier towards employment and training. The Skills & Training Provision will offer project participants the opportunity to address a lack of skills through the delivery of workshops, courses and training sessions which will support the participant's long term skill development and enable them to transition to more structured training opportunities with the possibility of leading to formal qualification attainment. • Contract value: Up to £66,000 (inclusive of VAT where applicable) • Publication date: 11th May 2022, 12:00pm noon • Closing date: 1st June 2022, 12:00pm noon • Contract start date: 27th June 2022 • Contract end date: 31st March 2023 • Contract is suitable for SMEs?
