The sites are split into 9 packages of work. The aim of the Works suites are to stabilise and revegetate bare peat, restore hydrology, and increase biodiversity on the Sites. - The Works comprise the following tasks: - Supply and delivery of Materials required to complete the Works, unless otherwise stated. - Appropriate storage of Materials, as necessary. - Supply and delivery of suitable Trackway for storing materials on (see Packages if required). - Forwarding of Materials and Equipment required to complete the Works to and within Works Sites, excluding Airlifting - Planning the Aerial Load Lifting Works, including marking out drop locations and working in collaboration with the Authorities Airlifting Contractor to deliver the works - Marshalling of Aerial Load Lifting, including materials drops - Installation of Stone Dams into gullies - Installation of Peat Dams into gullies - Installation of Peat Bunding - Re-profiling of hags and gully sides - Installation of Timber Dams into gullies - Installation of Heather Bales/coir logs into gullies and peat pans - Spreading of Heather Brash on bare peat - Spreading of Lime, Seed, and Fertiliser - Cutting of vegetation - Planting of Sphagnum Plug plants - Planting of Sedge and Dwarf Shrub Plug plants - Footpath construction and or repair - Terrestrial application of Dwarf Shrub Seed - Removal of Waste Materials from Sites. - The Packages are made up of the following Works Sites; Package 1 - Chellow Catchment (Oxenhope, Yeoman Hill, Nab Water, Bodkin Farm, Thornton Moor) ### Package 2 - Twizlehead Package 3 - Longwood Catchment (Close Moss, Wessenden, Pule, Bobus, Cupwith and Deanhead) ### Package 4 - Soyland Package 5 - Rishworth Moor ### Package 6 - Turley Holes Package 7 and 7a - Snailsden Moor ### Package 8a - Pikenaze Tender documents are available at [mbf.co/OfuPy0](http://mbf.co/OfuPy0) [moorsforthefuture.org.uk/tenders](https://www.moorsforthefuture.org.uk/tenders) Corrigendum notice added to FTS notice on 19 May 2022: The Authority has: - Reissued the itemised cost sheet. 2 items have changed: 1.1 Costs for marshalling item.
