Currently these requests are logged onto Access databases and spreadsheets. The Authority wishes to streamline and automate the management of requests and complaints with a view to improving compliance, decreasing case time and reducing the administrative burden of receiving and distributing these requests. HCC needs a more "systemised", less manual solution that logs requests and then automatically reminds users that a response is required. The system needs to be configurable to follow HCC workflows for the administration of different types of information request.
