These risks include those from changes in the UK's weather and climate, and also changes from weather and climate overseas that have knock-on impacts on the UK from through global interconnectivity. One of the most significant mechanisms by which the UK is exposed to global climate risks is through international trade. The CCC's 2021 progress report for England highlighted scored the planning for supply chain interruptions as medium, but the risk management in this area as low.
