All the work is to be undertaken from the highway. All painting works to be screened off whilst the work is in progress. All edges which are liable to falls and dropping of materials on to the canal, the adjacent land or properties shall be protected at all times by temporary barriers, nets & handrails. Therefore robust protection system will be required to carry out these works. The canal tow paths are not to be used for carrying out these painting works.
