The Contractor is required to provide a price for TWO options. Option A is a new heating system that has not been designed at all. It will be the Appointed Contractor who will undertake the design, and then installation of the new system. The system will use Air Source Heat Pumps as the form of heating, to heat the existing thermal distribution of the entire front block. Option B is a new heating system that has been partially designed by the specialists assisting the Employer, and in this instance the Appointed Contractor will undertake the design of distribution and controls within the plant room only, and add relevant plant to the components listed in order to ensure a fully functional design.
