Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Diagnosis and Medication Titration and Review ### Local Context South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS) for four London Boroughs- Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. There are waiting lists for children and young people in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark who need assessment for ADHD, or who, having been screened and/or assessed, require medication titration or review. All have been affected by a backlog of cases requiring medication review, including physical health checks, since appointments were cancelled or deferred in 2020/21. The review backlog impacts on new referrals. There is a requirement for additional help to reduce the backlogs and enable compliance with waiting time targets for referral to treatment. Autistic Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis Service ### Local Context South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS) for four London Boroughs- Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Croydon CAMHS is commissioned to provide the ASD diagnostic service for children and young people aged 5-18 years. There is a large backlog of referrals awaiting assessment arising from the issues during 2020. There is a requirement for additional help to reduce the backlogs and enable compliance with waiting time targets for assessment, diagnosis and discharge. Some of the latter may require additional assessment for ADHD.
