Leicester City Council as a whole consume somewhere in the region of 10 million kWh of energy per year. As energy prices continue to rise, and the way we operate buildings change, the consumption of energy across its estate becomes even more important as the council look for ways to reduce running costs and ultimately save money. The Council recognises that an Energy Management solution is needed to understand the energy use and flow of each asset within the property portfolio of Leicester City Council. We are interested in understanding the market, and whether vendors can supply a solution based on the outputs required.
