The main services required from the contractor are: - To set up a scheme to capture a representative sample of cases of pesticide and biocide exposures in the UK which result in the involvement of a medical professional (e.g. paramedic, GP or attendance at accident and emergency department). In particular the scheme should have the capacity to identify cases which are severe or lead to death. ii. To obtain basic information on the patients in the cases such as approximate age, gender, pregnancy status. iii.
