The services provided under this contract relate to providing wraparound support services to Asylum Seekers arriving from Afghanistan as part of Operation Pitting. The contract enables and assists service users to access services including interpretation and translation services, healthcare; welcome and ongoing support; education; policing and security; safeguarding; finance, benefits and employment advice, and housing/benefits advice. Also, cultural orientation and wellbeing activities. The number of service users and locations for delivery are flexible so that the Council can respond to Home Office direction and Oxfordshire's capacity. The contract is designed to allow spend to be flexed in line with the number of service users being provided for at a given time.
