The Royal Navy Shared Service Centre forms part of the People and Training (P&T) Directorate's delivery of NC People Transformation. An Industry Day was held in September 2021 to inform and seek feedback from industry on the RN's plans.. Following the Industry Day, approval has been granted to proceed with the procurement for a RN Shared Services Centre (previously referred to as HR Shared Services Centre). The RN Shared Service Centre will be delivered through Competitive Dialogue and will use the Model Services Contract, a Cabinet Office contract designed and recommended for complex and high-risk requirements where the scope might include business transformation, operational services, outsourcing and technology development services and where the total contract value is £20m or more. The anticipated value for RN Shared Services Centre is £30m over a contract period of 3 years plus two optional years.
