The main objectives were to ensure effective flood management and to ensure compliance with design guidance to limit future liabilities. A phased approach has been taken to allow for the schemes to be delivered to programme. Description of works: The works are based on a CIRIA review, currently being undertaken by a Design Consultant. This package of works will require that the screens will either be removed, replaced, or modified to meet the new guidance legislation.
