These surveys are well underway, and we are now able to start the remedial / replacement works needed to bring them up to standard. This is a new opportunity from North Star so for the right partner it would also be an opportunity to work with us to develop our long-term replacement strategy for all Fire Door Replacements. The first batch of surveys have now been completed, a sample of these have been provided as part of this tender pack, please see Appendix J-1 to Appendix J-12. We are looking for partners who have expertise in this area with fitters who are competent and have undergone the correct installation training. All works need to be completed to a high standard and doors fully certified upon completion to BS 476-22:1987 or BN EN 1634-1:2014. It is estimated that the contract value is likely to be around £300,000 over the next six months with an overall contract value of approx. £600,000 over the full term of this contract including any extensions.
