Internally decayed timber elements including door frames, lintels and floor joists will be replaced. Retained finishes will be cleaned down and treated with a fungicidal fluid. To enable the works certain M&E installations will be isolated, disconnected and reinstated. The boiler and heating system will be drained down before the gas and water supplies are capped off. The electric supply will remain connected to ensure the continued working of the intruder alarm.
