The range of events and festivals varies in terms of size, content and objectives. Some are commissioned from external bodies, while others the authority programmes and delivers. Our existing framework is a single, commonly agreed set of questions and metrics, which can be tailored to the specific requirements of each activity, but which still allows for comparison across portfolio. This framework currently includes compulsory Audience Agency questions (part of our NPO funding criteria) and may also need to encompass additional questions as required by Arts Council England through their Impact & Insight toolkit.
