Scottish Water's requirement will cover water treatment and wastewater treatment will be utilised for a number of purposes including; coagulation, flocculation, PH adjustment, disinfectant, odour control, ammonia reduction and plumbosolvency management. The chemicals required must be supplied in 1000L IBC's, pressure bins, drums, bulk deliveries or packed goods. Estimated annual usage per chemical is attached in the supporting documents of the PQQ. There is no guarantee given on these volumes.
