We require a Senior Legal Assistant who is ideally a Member or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent or newly qualified Solicitor or Barrister, who can provide advice and assistance on all legal matters. Executive or a Newly Qualified Solicitor (with some experience of litigation and/or employment matters) is required. You will be supported by a team of excellent caseworkers and business support officers. The post-holder will be expected to assist the In-House Principal Advocate/Barrister in dealing with Employment matters, with responsibility for preparing witness statements, and disclosure bundles for upcoming Tribunal hearings, drafting settlement agreements, and assisting with Employment cases generally. The post holder will be given the opportunity to conduct tribunal matters when required.
