The Pandemic has demonstrated the importance of businesses being able to adapt and be resilient. As part of the economic recovery, we are seeking to put in place a raft of business support activities to help businesses with a base in Luton recover and grow. Additionally we have incentives for green sector start-ups or micro business expansion via a grant scheme with a total value of £50,000. This must be complemented by provision of mentoring support from one of Luton's Anchor businesses which the council will help to facilitate. The funding is to be spent between 1 October 2021 and 31 January 2022 with two possible extensions at the discretion of the Council up until 31 March 2022.
