We know that outreach testing including home testing, mobile testing for small outbreaks and surveillance testing in care homes and other community settings is required to bridge this gap. Without the COVID-19 Outreach Testing Service there is no provision for outreach testing. A flexible service responsive to local need will be crucial in our local response to outbreak management.
