The ISVAs will deliver all the essential elements of the Independent Sexual Violence Adviser Role as detailed in the 2017 Home Office guidance and the ChISVAs will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people aged 5 to 18 years, who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation at any time during their life (with flexibility to ensure suitable transitions are made between Services for those that need a continuum to their support).
