The Local Authority's children's social care services were transferred to Sandwell Children's Trust on 1 April 2018. The Adviser and Independent Chair of the Improvement Board will provide a clear and sustained focus on the areas for improvement and ensure independent oversight of the Trust's progress in line with its improvement plan.
