Therefore the Authority is looking to re-tender a Contract to continue to provide this Abandoned Vehicle Service. The Service is required to cover the following: - Collection of abandoned vehicles, including burnt out vehicles from within Torbay Council's administrative boundary; - Storage and disposal of vehicles collected; - Removal of vehicles from the highway for other activity; and - Removal and storage of vehicles parked on harbour land causing difficulty.
