## About this tender

This resource has been brought in as a specialist in their field for this prominent and politically sensitive role. The decision to award directly was taken by the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) due to the unanticipated roll off of the former Director of Communications who left NHS Test and Trace to take up an urgent role in the Royal Household. The CCO took this step following approval from the Chief Executive at the time, as well as the Secretary of State for Health.
