The company is funded by the public and private sectors, and acts as an economic development and promotions agency undertaking long term Service Level Agreement contracts. Clients' examples include: West Midlands Combined Authority and its constituent members; the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) & six major universities in the West Midlands Alongside this, WMGC also is commissioned on a project by project basis by clients across the Midlands areas.
