The features will include large woody debris, scrapes, swales, leaky fences an, fencing and meanders with the idea being that these features will act as natural flood manangemnt features on the estate are Upper catchment of the River Darent. All areas chosen for NFM projects have had flooding issues in the past. The project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and The TRIPLE-C project which forms part of a wider delivery programme through the Heritage Lottery Funded Darent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme (DVLPS) which will work to ensure the ongoing conservation and enjoyment of the landscape.
