Additional information: The test methods have been developed in-house by LGC Ltd and have already been demonstrated to be fit for purpose across complex food and cosmetic products. This project aims to validate LGC's methods to feed in to potential future UK standards. Once validated by this project, these methods will be published and a ring trial will allow other test houses to demonstrate proficiency and offer a similar service for content verification and wider market surveillance purposes in the future. The ring trial is an open call for laboratories to participate.
