Bathymetric surveys are required during the construction phase of the HPC build programme. Four bathymetric surveys are required, two in the vicinity of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) construction site and two at Portishead disposal site, Somerset, UK. There is a licence requirement to undertake two detailed bathymetric surveys of the subsea infrastructure locations at Hinkley Point before marine works begin and again after construction is completed. Construction also requires the seabed to be dredged, and material to be removed from site and disposed of in a licenced disposal site.
