The structure consists of a two span cable stayed suspension bridge. The total length is 62m with a main span of 40m. The bridge tower support is founded within the River bed and extends 16m high above the deck. The bridge consists of a steelwork deck frame and tower with timber decking and aluminium balustrading. The deck is suspended from 8 pairs of steel cables (16 cables and 32 connectors). The project aim is to undertake major maintenance works on the cable stay Camel footbridge in Wadebridge safeguarding the structure for continued use. The intention is to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake this works.
