The study will provide key evidence to support land use planning policy concerning agricultural land and addressing climate change in the forthcoming Spatial Development Strategy (SDS). The RECC Study should be robust in order to support policy development and meet the requirements of national planning policy and guidance (currently comprising the National Planning Policy Framework 2019 (NPPF) and associated Planning Practice Guidance (PPG)) .
