This work is being commissioned as part of the LGA's Economic Growth Advisers programme which provides councils with additional capacity and support across a range of economic issues. The council is seeking support from an adviser to identify the priority sectors that are the most vulnerable to the impact of climate change. The adviser will also support the council to develop an action plan to engage with SMEs and understand how the council can enable the reduction of emissions within different sectors, adopt a net zero pledge and invest in future skills to support business growth. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
