The support of an independent advocate can help a person form and articulate their views about what they should receive in terms of social care, mental health and general health services, explain how they are being treated and feel they should be treated and communicate their views to those in a position of authority. LCC is fully committed to the principles and benefits of independent advocacy in protecting these basic human rights.
