The works comprise of the adaptation of existing facilities within tenanted properties. The scope of the works will include the installation of Level Access Showers & disabled kitchens, ramped external access, external hardstanding, door widening, and the fitting of hand & grab rails. Works outside of this scope may also be required. Orders will be issued on a responsive basis, and to Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council's specification. The HBBC In-House team also complete some of the works; estimated to be 20% of the Total number of adaptations per annum. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
