The current spike in public contact has been dealt with by moving substantial numbers of colleagues around the organisation, which is not sustainable and has caused significant disruption and coordination challenges, whilst also being demanding on the staff involved. There are further anticipated spikes of activity likely over at least the next two years as extraordinary regulatory frameworks remain in place due to the impact and tail of COVID-19.
