Following a comprehensive review of short breaks, I am pleased to advise that Lancashire County Council's Cabinet has agreed changes to the short break offer for Children and Young People (CYP) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Therefore, please find below letter to interested providers inviting you to an engagement session about the recommissioning of home care and short breaks for children and young people. It is our intention that a procurement process will follow this provider engagement event. The Council reserves the right to amend what is set out in the letter and subsequent engagement event. Any procurement process that may be conducted will only be in accordance with the procurement documents that are published.
