Brief description: Sandwell MBC Citizen and Consumer Protection, Business and Consumer team is looking for a fully qualified, enthusiastic and reliable Environmental Health/Food Safety Officer registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board. We are looking for someone with experience of conducting Food Safety/Standards inspections. This role is ideally tailored towards somebody with public sector food premises inspection experience. You should be competent in Food Safety and Food Standards as detailed by the FSA Food Law Code of Practice and have the ability to carry out inspections in accordance with the relevant legislation and national codes of practice. You must be competent with Microsoft Office and use of the internet and be an excellent communicator at all levels. Knowledge of the CIVICA environmental health database is desirable. Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
