The core requirement of these services is for information on cereals & oilseeds crops and potato crops. One of the ways in which AHDB supports our farmers, growers and industry is through the provision of unbiased, high quality market information. This information is to help business decision making and improves supply chain transparency. To further these aims for the cereals and oilseeds and potatoes sectors, AHDB provides information on the condition and development of arable crops during the growing season. In addition, AHDB provides information on the harvest throughout that period. This information is used by the arable industry and stakeholders to inform business decisions and may also be reported on by the farming press. AHDB is seeking the provision of reliable, robust and statistically significant data to cover key points during the planting, growing and harvesting period of both cereal & oilseed crops and potatoes. Namely: Crop planting, development & condition reports / Harvest progression reporting - cereals & oilseeds / Potato lifting reporting The AHDB is looking to secure a single supplier for ALL these services; and while consortia bids are welcome, they must be managed by a lead supplier who will be the point of contact for the AHDB.
