This project is part funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority. The North Bank of the Tyne is a large and strategically important employment corridor, providing the primary location for a nationally significant cluster of businesses in the offshore and sub-sea sector. This study will help secure the economic future of the river, including as businesses transition towards a low-carbon future, whilst also considering the wider cultural, leisure and residential offer that the river brings to the region. This study will lead to the production of a detailed set of evidence and a common narrative for the North Bank of the River Tyne.
