The service will consist of 2 Carers in a Car to provide care and support service for an initial 6 months and possible future strategy for the following service delivery: o 2 Carers in a Car (triggered by a telecare service) o Night care support between 22:00 - 07:00 o 7 Days a week (inc bank hols) o 6 Month Trial Period (14 May - 14 October 2021) o Value of Pilot - up to a maximum of ?20 an hour per carer for a combined total of 3276 hours The Council are looking to engage with an experienced provider who has a CQC Good inspection rating to seek competitive rates and to deliver a night time care support service, to support with the timely hospital discharges and support with hospital avoidance, as an alternative to bed based support where someone has night-time care needs. The service would require to install 2 carers in car and a telecare service for the 6 month trial from May 21-October 2021. The telecare service will be sourced separately by the Council.
